Using his personal photos and historic artifacts, Captain Jack will bring the magic of the region to life through stories told in his book, From These Shores. Choose a late afternoon charter and enjoy the beautiful sunsets Watch Hill is known for. We will also pick up guests in a 1913 Model T Depot Hack Woody for a brief tour of Watch Hill, by request.

Mystic Seaport Museum by Sea

A truly memorable excursion this cruise was designed exclusively for Ocean House guests by our captain, Jack Spratt, a lifelong member and supporter of and volunteer for Mystic Seaport. Captain Jack will pick guests up at Ocean House in his 1913 Model T Depot Hack Woody for a short motor tour of Watch Hill before departing our docks aboard Encore for an exciting trip to the Mystic Seaport Museum.

As we pass under the Mystic bridge, guests will feel as if they’ve been transported back into the 18th century. With his extensive knowledge and exclusive access to nearby museums, Captain Jack will provide a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Mystic Seaport Museum, including a look at areas that are not open to the public. Guests of this cruise will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hard hat tour of the Charles W. Morgan whaling ship. Unwind with some champagne as we steam east to our homeport at sunset.
