Children's Christmas Party
On Sunday, December 19th, we held our annual Children's Christmas Party as part of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Families joined us to celebrate the holidays, and enjoyed a light buffet prepared by our Culinary Team. Children sat on Santa's lap and shared their Christmas wishes, and enjoyed making gingerbread houses. Various authors attended, offering signed copies of their books. Unwrapped children's toys were collected for Toys for Tots which the Marines collected days later from the Ocean House.
Children's Christmas Party
As part of our Twelve Days of Christmas, we had our Children's Christmas Party on Sunday. Children came with their parents to meet Santa Claus and tell him their wish list for Christmas. Helen Moschetti, from the Westerly Library, read Albert's Christmas to the children. They were also entertained with fun activities including decorating Gingerbreadmen cookies, turning pine cones into Christmas trees and coloring. It was a magical event!
