New Year's Eve Gala: Around the World in Eight Cuisines
On Saturday, December 31st, we celebrated New Year's Eve in a big way. Over 1,000 silver and scarlet balloons adorned the ceiling of the Living Room, ready to welcome guests as they arrived. More than 550 guests enjoyed eight cuisines from around the world and made sure to stamp their passports, received on arrival, at each of the food stations. A fully stamped passport entered guests into raffle with the chance to win a one-night's stay at the hotel. A lucky couple from North Kingstown, RI won the grand prize! Music and champagne flowed throughout the hotel, with Steve Anthony and the Persuasions keeping everyone dancing until the wee hours of the morning. A new feature this year was the Next Generation Photo Booth, where guests could take pictures of themselves with friends. Check out those pictures here.
