Resort’s Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Travel Packages Now Available
WATCH HILL, R.I., November 8, 2010 – To kick off its first holiday season after a $140 million rebuild and restoration, The Ocean House is offering an array of festive packages. An ideal setting to relax and relish in the company of loved ones, guests of the Victorian-era seaside resort will experience the golden age of luxury while being warmed by cozy stone fireplaces. The following Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve packages will delight those looking for a memorable holiday set in New England.
The resort welcomes travelers to start a new tradition this holiday season by offering An Ocean House Thanksgiving. The two-night package features: accommodations, bottle of Ocean House signature label wine, daily breakfast for two and choice of a Thanksgiving buffet in the Seaside Ballroom or a five-course, plated menu in the property’s signature restaurant, Seasons. Package starts at $902, based on double occupancy and is valid for stays from November 24-28, 2010.
Christmas at the Ocean House will bring hot cider, eggnog and fresh cookies to the lobby, carols in the evening, a visit from Santa Claus and the Christmas Spectacular package. The two-night package includes: accommodations, special Christmas amenity, bottle of Ocean House signature label wine, daily breakfast for two, a five-course Christmas Eve dinner at Seasons, Christmas Day brunch featuring live music, followed by a five-course holiday dinner. Package starts at $1,048, based on double occupancy and is valid for stays from December 24-26, 2010.
Guests can bid farewell to 2010 and ring in the New Year surrounded by family and friends with the property’s New Year’s Eve House Party package. Guests will enjoy accommodations, bottle of champagne, daily breakfast for two, a New Year’s Eve black-tie, resort-wide celebration including live entertainment, open bar and culinary delights from the kitchen, as well as a New Year’s Day brunch with live music. Package starts at $1,114, based on double occupancy and is valid for stays from December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011.
