The Living Room and Verandah
Adjacent to the hotel lobby, the Living Room & Verandah are decorated in a traditional style, with cozy chairs and couches to curl up in front of the stone fireplace and relax. True to tradition, full afternoon tea is served every day at the Ocean House; steaming tea in china cups, refreshing glasses of icy lemonade, trays of scones and delicate sandwiches served in front of the Living Room fire or out on the shady Verandah. In the evening, cocktails, a light menu of Rhode Island and New England specialties, and live music set a tone of ease and pleasure at day's end. Whether you are just arriving, or seeking shade after a day at the beach, the complimentary full afternoon tea service overlooking the Atlantic is the perfect way to unwind.
