The Living Room
The Living Room, the centerpiece of Ocean House, is a comfortable space decorated in a traditional style with cozy chairs and couches to curl up in before the stone fireplace.
Weekend afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to unwind with a cup of tea and a selection of delectable treats during our traditional Afternoon Tea.
In the evening, we offer cocktails and live music. Whether you are just arriving or seeking shade after a day at the beach, the Living Room’s inviting atmosphere creates the ideal place to relax.
Our traditional Afternoon Tea includes a variety of teas accompanied by a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, pastries and sweets.
On Friday and Saturday, celebrated local artists take over the Living Room, transforming it into an intimate music lounge. Enjoy a signature Ocean House cocktail while tapping your toes to their energetic tunes.
Faith is a graduate of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and Colorado State University. She can be heard playing her concert harp in the living room for afternoon tea, and plays an eclectic mix of classical, new age, and latest show music.
Al Copley, arranger and co-founder of Roomful of Blues, has performed extensively throughout Europe and the northeastern United States, and is continually expanding his musical repertoire. He is noted for his energy, versatility and impeccable harmony.
Local Favorite Michael Campbell holds a doctorate in piano from Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University. When he’s not in the performing in the Living Room, Michael can be heard accompanying Ocean House’s resident cabaret performer Marion Markham.
