Captain Jack’s Local Area Tour

Depart Watch Hill and travel to Fishers Island, all while enjoying the cottages, light houses, two life saving stations, notable Fishers Island Club golf course and the private island of a famous inventor. On this Rhode Island yacht tour, we’ll travel up into West Harbor and back across Long Island Sound’s eastern-most point to the quaint fishing villages of Noank and Mystic. Fancy some lunch? We’ll dock at a waterfront restaurant famous for its lobsters. Using his personal photos and historic artifacts, Captain Jack will bring the magic of the region to life through stories told in his book, From These Shores. Choose a late afternoon charter and enjoy the beautiful sunsets Watch Hill is known for. We will also pick up guests in a 1913 Model T Depot Hack Woody for a brief tour of Watch Hill, by request.

Mystic Seaport Museum by Sea

A truly memorable excursion, this Rhode Island cruise was designed exclusively for Ocean House guests by our captain, Jack Spratt, a lifelong member and supporter of and volunteer for Mystic Seaport. Captain Jack will pick guests up at Ocean House in his 1913 Model T Depot Hack Woody for a short motor tour of Watch Hill before departing our docks aboard Encore for an exciting trip to the Mystic Seaport Museum.

As we pass under the Mystic bridge, guests will feel as if they’ve been transported back into the 18th century. With his extensive knowledge and exclusive access to nearby museums, Captain Jack will provide a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Mystic Seaport Museum, including a look at areas that are not open to the public. Guests of this luxury yacht cruise will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hard hat tour of the Charles W. Morgan whaling ship. Unwind with some champagne as we steam east to our homeport at sunset.
