Located just off the beach path, 1868 Café is a welcoming new espresso and gelato bar designed for all-day enjoyment. Named for the year that the original Ocean House hotel opened, the café honors the property’s rich history while offering a fresh gathering place for hotel guests a day visitors alike.
The newly refinished space features beadboard finishes painted in the same signature yellow as the iconic hotel, creating a bright, coastal atmosphere that feels both timeless and inviting. Guests can stop in for expertly crafted espresso drinks made with beans from boutique coffee roaster Coperaco, as well as enjoy morning pastries and grab-and-go panini, and satisfy a sweet craving with house-made gelato and nostalgic old-fashioned candy.
Whether picking up a coffee before a beach walk, enjoying a leisurely afternoon treat, or ending a perfect summer night with gelato, 1868 Café offers a memorable experience that the entire family will enjoy.
