Learn the ins and outs of creating an elegant seasonal meal (In the Kitchen), taste your way through excellent wines (From Vine to Wine) or please your palate with both food and beverage (In the Cellar).

In the Kitchen Culinary Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House culinary experts in our “In the Kitchen” Culinary Education Series. Work hands-on with members of the culinary team in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master the variety of topics.

Classes are on select Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

JULY 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 – In the Kitchen: Summertime Classics: Summertime Sides & Picnic Ideas. Looking to up your cookout or picnic game? Learn some great seasonal side dishes and ways to elevate what you bring along on your next picnic.

AUGUST 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 – In the Kitchen: Preserved Luxury: Foie Gras Torchon & Fruit Compote. Learn, hands-on, what goes into making some impressive delicacies and condiments. 

SEPTEMBER 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 – In the Kitchen: Late Summer Harvest: Tomatoes, Corn & Lobster. Savor the waning days of Summer by capturing some of the season’s best flavors from a variety of favorite ingredients.

OCTOBER 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, 31 – In the Kitchen: Soups for the Season: Classic Mushroom Soup & Lobster Bisque Be fully prepared for the colder days ahead by learning to make some crowd-pleasing soups from scratch.

From Vine to Wine Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House wine experts in our “From Vine to Wine” Wine Education Series. Taste and learn in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master a variety of topics, and enjoy a beautiful cheese platter.

Classes are on select Wednesdays and Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

JULY 6, 13, 16, 20, 27, 30 – From Vine to Wine: Rosé Wines From Around the World. Join our Director of Wine for a tour around the world with the summer rosé wine as your guide.

AUGUST 3, 6, 10, 17, 20, 24, 31 – From Vine to Wine: Loire Valley Wines. The Loire Valley of central France is home to a variety of wines, grapes and flavors. Join our Director of Wine for an exploration of the different wines that come from this beautiful French valley.

In the Cellar Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House culinary experts in our “In the Cellar” Culinary and Wine Education Series. Work hands-on with members of both the culinary and wine teams in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master the variety of topics.

Classes are on select Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

JULY 9, 23 – In the Cellar: Backyard BBQ & Beer. Join our culinary and beverage experts to celebrate summer with tips on great BBQ dishes and the ice cold brews to enjoy with them.

AUGUST 13, 27 – In the Cellar: Classic Shellfish & Wine Pairings. Join our Director of Wine and our culinary team as they present a variety of New England raw bar classics and some terrific wines to enjoy them with.
