Learn the ins and outs of creating an elegant seasonal meal (In the Kitchen), taste your way through excellent wines (From Vine to Wine) or please your palate with both food and beverage (In the Cellar).

In the Kitchen Culinary Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House culinary experts in our “In the Kitchen” Culinary Education Series. Work hands-on with members of the culinary team in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master the variety of topics.

Classes are on select Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

NOVEMBER 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 28 – In the Kitchen: Holiday Meal Planning Hosting the holidays for your family or friends this year? Master the art of preparing ahead, ensuring your total success creating some impressive and festive dishes. 

DECEMBER 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 – In the Kitchen: Braising & Stewing, Hearty Wintertime Favorites Get ready for the perfect winter culinary experience, where you’ll learn expert braising techniques and some comforting recipes for winner wintertime stews.

From Vine to Wine Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House wine experts in our “From Vine to Wine” Wine Education Series. Taste and learn in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master a variety of topics, and enjoy a beautiful cheese platter.

Classes are on select Wednesdays and Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

Remaining 2022 Topics and Dates:

NOVEMBER 2, 5, 9, 16, 19, 23, 30 – From Vine to Wine: Wines of Piedmont Travel to the Piedmont region of Italy, with our Group Director of Wines as he takes you through some of the wines in the region, including the famous reds and some lesser known wines that are worth getting to know.

DECEMBER 3, 7, 14, 17, 21, 28 – From Vine to Wine: Champagne No special occasion needed to enjoy Champagne and sparkling wine! Pop open a bottle with us and learn the process of making bubbles with our Group Director of Wine.

In the Cellar Education Series

On select dates each month, join the Ocean House culinary experts in our “In the Cellar” Culinary and Wine Education Series. Work hands-on with members of both the culinary and wine teams in the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts as you master the variety of topics.

Classes are on select Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. $150/person

NOVEMBER 12, 26 – In the Cellar: Thanksgiving Feast Food and wine are the centerpiece of Thanksgiving celebrations. Learn some new ways to pair excellent wines with the classic dishes found on your holiday table.

DECEMBER 10, 24 – In the Cellar: Sparkling Wine & Food Pairings Pop open a bottle of bubble to learn how to pair a variety of sparkling wines with classic dishes.
