A favorite area for visiting guests during the summer, The Verandah sweeps across the south facade of Ocean House. The outdoor terrace of this Rhode Island seafood restaurant overlooks the pristine croquet court, which offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Little Narragansett Bay. Fresh shellfish from nearby waters — succulent oysters, clams and crab claws — are shucked to order at our traditional New England raw oyster bar. The menu also includes savory light items such as a daily ceviche and an assortment of delicious sandwiches. With oversized chairs and low tables, The Verandah beckons you to relax and enjoy a brisk cocktail paired with a heavenly bite as you watch the waves crash along the shoreline.


A full raw bar and menu of traditional Rhode Island and New England specialties, including soups, salads and sandwiches.

Guests visiting us for the day are welcome to reserve dining within seven (7) days of the time of reservation, based on availability. There is a $5 valet parking fee for non-hotel guests.
