At Ocean House, the Atlantic Ocean is right outside our doors, providing endless opportunities for ocean adventure with activities like swimming, fishing and — for those who are up for the challenge — surfing and stand up paddle boarding. Let a qualified, experienced instructor seamlessly guide you every step of the way, customizing an experience suited to all skill levels and abilities.

Lessons

1-hour lessons available from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Surf Lesson
Experience the thrill that comes from gliding across a wave! Includes surfboard rental and wetsuit is preferred. Start with a short on-land lesson to cover surfing basics and ocean safety. Paddle out to the line up for a Rhode Island surf session.

Stand Up Paddle Lesson
Enjoy a traditional Hawaiian activity accessible for all ages and skill levels. Stand Up Paddle offers a subtle core and balance workout and the opportunity to explore the Atlantic Ocean from an unusual vantage point. Includes board, adjustable paddle and on-land lesson to cover stand up paddle strokes and basic techniques.

Group: Group lessons are private just for you four group with a minimum of 2 guests, maximum of 8 guests. 1 instructor for up to 4 guest ratio.

Private: $225 per guest. Suggested for children under 10 and timid swimmers. 1 instructor to 1 guest ratio.

Rentals

Available for 1 hour rentals from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservation needed, rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Equipment
Rent quality Softop Surfboards, Paddle boards, Body Boards, or Tadem Boogie boards from the Surf House during your stay at the Ocean House Beach.

Buy-out the Surf House for the day and get exclusive access to all the equipment and instructors for your party!

Hours

Rentals and lessons are available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance. The instructors reserve the right to cancel any activity due to weather and/or ocean conditions.
